Ahead of US President Barack Obama’s visit, observers cite a sudden spurt in intelligence sharing by US agencies.

Most of these foreign inputs deal with a range of possible terror threats to India.

The possible hijack inputs, or an explosion aboard an Air India flight between Delhi and Kabul; even the warning that the sea route will be used to target an Indian port have all proved to be correct.

According to observers, “US is concerned and has become hyperactive regarding India ahead of Barack Obama’s visit to India.”

Barack Obama will be India’s chief guest at the Republic Day parade on January 26.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally announced the invitation to Obama on November 21.
